My wife and I have been eating at the Zing Vaa for the past 48 years and during that time the food has been nothing less than excellent, and on many occasions stupendous. Sunday afternoon is the best time to eat at the Zing Vaa - after 2.30pm but before 4pm - when you can eat a huge variety of dim sums. Try sui mi - small parcels of mixed pork and prawns in light pastry covering - and ha ka, similar to sui mi but filled with mashed prawns, and other magic ingredients, but enclosed in wafer-thin, see-through pastry. Most of the diners on Sunday are Chinese and if you have a look at what they are eating, and if you like the look of it, ask one of the friendly waiters to order it for you. I have rarely been disappointed doing just that. If you eat what the Chinese eat, two of you can dine like the king and queen for less than £20.00. I particularly like mixed meats on a bed of rice, either plain boiled rice or fried rice, or crispy noodles. Mixed sea food is also a good choice and beef in black bean sauce with mixed vegetables is also one of my favourites - the beef just melts in your mouth.

Great little restaurant with fab food. I had the Fortune feast with my friend and we hardly made a dent in it! Everything is really fresh and tasty. They also coped really well with our booking of 27 people, although we faxed them what we wanted first. I've also been told they do great daytime buffets too. Would definitely recommend.
